Opening Reception | The MSU Sidewalk Poetry Project
The MSU Sidewalk Poetry Project celebrates the creative spirit of our Spartan community by displaying their poetry as public art. Join us at this reception to celebrate the winning authors of this exciting competition. Listen to winners recite their poetry and view full-size photos of their work as it appears, etched into sidewalks across campus. Guest juror David Adams will also provide a reading of recent work. This project is created and directed by Associate Professor Nancy DeJoy and is sponsored by the MSU Libraries and the Center For Poetry in the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities, and is partially funded by the Public Art on Campus Committee and through in-kind support from the Department of Art, Art History, and Design.
