Community Open Call: Women of Color Writing Workshop

Friday, Sep. 11, 2020    10am–12pm

Unpacking the Mysticism of Writing

Are you a Woman of Color (WOC) looking for a safe space to forge relationships with other WOC graduate students within a professional and personal context? Join this graduate student community, which is hosting a series of virtual writing sessions. These sessions will include dedicated time for writing, peer reviews, and facilitated learning discussions in an effort to support students’ progress on milestones and writing projects. Learn more about this group here.

Registration is required. Click here to register for this free online event.

The Women of Color Writing Workshop series is part of the Community Open Call, an experimental platform that invites the community to become a central figure in the planning process for the arts and cultural programming offered at the MSU Broad Art Lab. This initiative is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Apply for the Community Open Call here.

This online event will take place on Zoom.
