Signs of Life: The Poetry Room Open-Mic

Join us for an evening of open-mic performances inspired by the sounds of nature. Poetry and music come to life with the sounds of thunder, wolves, whales, and more in a sensory immersion under the dome! This follow-up to our November 12 workshop is a continued experiment in listening, storytelling, and sound, proudly presented in collaboration with The Poetry Room in Lansing.
Addressing themes in our current video art program, When the Land Speaks, this event celebrates our diverse human experience and explores our changing relationship with the land in which we live. Special thanks to our host and friends at Abrams Planetarium.
