Printmaking Workshop: Block Printed Totes

Saturday, Nov. 07, 2020    1–4pm

Immerse yourself in the design, cutting, and stamping process of making your own block printed tote bag. Taking inspiration from the nature-driven patterns of Japanese woodblock prints, you’ll learn how to design and hand-print a repeating textile pattern. We’ll discuss the history and symbolism of ukiyo-e prints and reference some of the many examples we have in our collection for added inspiration. This workshop is led by Art Lab Studio Educator Britta Urness.

Choose the date that's best for you! This workshop is being offered on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 1–4pm or Friday, Nov. 13 from 7–10pm.

Registration for this online event is required. Cost of registration ($65) covers instruction and all materials. The registration deadline is November 2, 2020. Register here.

This online event will take place on Zoom.
