New in Student Performance: Social Practice Class Project

Sunday, Apr. 14, 2019    2–4pm

The students are working on a semester long individual project that engages communities of their choice. Throughout the project, they are tasked with documenting the work through photo, video, text, and art objects/relics as a way to preserve the experiences. They must present this documentation to the class for critique. For their final, the group will exhibit their projects in either a DIY publication and/or a class exhibition.

This monthly series features MSU students as the MSU Broad Art Lab becomes a laboratory to develop and showcase music, dance, poetry, film, or something we haven’t even thought of yet. Join us and support the experimentation of these creative Spartans across campus.

Held at the Art Lab, located directly across the street from the museum at 565 E Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823.
