Polymer expert John Dorgan from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science will join this unconventional tour to discuss innovative approaches to repurpose and reincarnate the mountains of plastic waste produced worldwide. This monthly tour series offers a close look at one work of art on view at the MSU Broad. Join our Director of Education, Michelle Word, as she talks with an invited expert who will bring their unique perspectives and knowledge to the conversation, sharing relevant cultural, scientific, and historical context that brings into focus the artwork's timely themes.
The 2021 MSU Department of Art, Art History, and Design Faculty Triennial is on view Aug. 7–Dec. 19 at the MSU Broad Art Museum.
