Field Station: Beatriz Santiago Muñoz Opening Reception

Friday, Oct. 11, 2019    6–8pm

Please join artist Beatriz Santiago Muñoz in celebration of the opening of the newest Field Station exhibition. Beatriz Santiago Muñoz presents an immersive film exhibition comprised of four recent films—Gosila, Jagua, Horizonte vertical, and Sacred Filth—and custom-made and found lenses. Together the works speak to the fractured realities of living in Puerto Rico post-Maria and the difficulties of representing these lived experiences. Curated by Carla Acevedo-Yates, Field Station: Beatriz Santiago Muñoz is on view through January 26, 2020.

Field Station: Beatriz Santiago Muñoz is organized by the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University and curated by Carla Acevedo-Yates, Guest Curator. Support for this exhibition is provided by the MSU Federal Credit Union.
