Educator Workshop | wasteNOT: Collaboration, Making, and Environmental Action

Learn how artists Jae Won Lee and Kelly Salchow MacArthur are using community engagement and experimentation to pull attention to society’s over-dependence on plastic. Through a collaborative project spanning the past year, plastic bags have been used as the primary catalyst, and upcycled towards an exhibition. In this hands-on workshop, participants will visit the artists’ current exhibition at (SCENE) Metrospace, and learn how to use salvaged plastic as an art material. SCECHs available.
