Eco-Printing Workshop

Saturday, Nov. 02, 2019    1–4pm

Plants have long been a source of colorful pigments for paints and dyes. In this workshop, you’ll ditch the toxic art supplies and head back to the basics. Learn the eco-printing process as you generate a series of 5x7” postcards using only seasonal and native plant matter and the pigments they hold. Have special plants you’d like to experiment with? Feel free to bring them along!

Registration for this event is required. Cost of registration ($40) covers instruction and materials. The registration deadline is October 28, 2019. Click here to register.

This workshop is led by Michigan-based artist and teacher Dayna Walton of Solstice Handmade.

Held at the Art Lab, located directly across the street from the museum at 565 E Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823.
