Postponed: Artist Feature: Joseph Tisiga

Friday, Jan. 28, 2022    6–8pm

With public health and safety in mind, we have postponed this event. We plan to reschedule for a later date, to be confirmed.

Part opening reception, part artist conversation, join internationally acclaimed artist Joseph Tisiga for this evening of thoughtful discussion and the debut of his new exhibition as part of the Artist Project Series at the MSU Broad Art Museum.

During the reception, Tisiga will be joined in conversation with Interim Dean of the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities at MSU, Dr. Dylan AT Miner, together touching on a wide range of topics germane to Tisiga’s work—connecting broader histories of land rights and colonial occupation to local perspectives in the mid-Michigan region and at MSU, specifically. Registration for this event is required.

Joseph Tisiga is on view Jan. 29–Aug. 7, 2022 at the MSU Broad.

MSU requires proof of vaccination, or a recent negative COVID-19 test to visit the MSU Broad Art Museum. Learn more about the requirement here.
