FOCUS TOUR: Seed Diversity

One artwork. One guest. One theme. In March, we’ll look at Archiving Eden: The Vaults series by Dornith Doherty featured in Seeds of Resistance. Dr. Philip Howard from the Department of Community Sustainability will join us for this unconventional tour that frames the global seed industry and its increasing lack of biodiversity.
This monthly tour series offers a close look at one work of art on view at the MSU Broad. Join our Director of Education Michelle Word as she talks with an invited expert who will bring their unique perspectives and knowledge to the conversation, sharing relevant cultural, scientific, and historical context that brings into focus the artwork’s timely themes.
