Art and Activism: Jenny Kendler in conversation with Elizabeth Corr, NRDC

Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2021    7–8pm

Jenny Kendler is a Chicago-based artist, activist and naturalist whose work “re-stories” the relationship between humans and the natural world. Her various projects address issues of ecological loss, climate change, and the threat of extinction. Kendler will discuss her wide-ranging practice with Elizabeth Corr (Manager of Art Partnerships, NRDC – Natural Resources Defense Council) and Steven L. Bridges (Associate Curator, MSU Broad), exploring how her work animates science, advocacy, and environmental issues. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the conversation and learn about ways they can also support environmental justice and ecological preservation in their own communities. The solo exhibition, Jenny Kendler: The Long Goodbye, is on view January 15 – June 27, 2021, at the MSU Broad.

Registration is required. Click here to register for this free online event.
